What is Galio's Aegis?
Galio's Aegis is a new way of rewarding players who play objectively well in a lost game. While the event's live, you stand to escape a hard-fought defeat unscathed—or at least a little less scathed.
S-Rank
Scoring an S-Rank prevents you from losing Ranked Marks in defeat. This also takes priority over the effects of score protection events and Ranked Loss Shield Cards, so your precious consumable protections will be preserved.
A-Rank
Scoring an A-Rank grants 50% of your current tier's Ranked Fortitude in defeat. This perk won't activate if Ranked Fortitude compensation from score protection events is triggered, but you will get the 50% Fortitude compensation if a Ranked Loss Shield Card is used.
Other Requirements
Galio's Aegis is reserved for players who not only play well, but who show good sportsmanship in genuine games at a certain level of play:
- Must be in good standing (no active penalties, etc.)
- Platinum tier or higher
- Match must be at least 10 minutes long
- No penalties received in game (confirmed chat reports, etc.)
