As part of our ongoing effort to ensure every match of League of Legends: Wild Rift is fun and fair, we're using Vanguard to stop cheaters in their tracks the moment they're detected.
What is Vanguard?
Vanguard is Riot-made software we use to detect and punish cheaters in real time. It's been part of our PC titles for some time, but we're excited to share the same protections for Wild Rift.
How does Vanguard work in Wild Rift?
Vanguard stops the match a moment a cheater is detected, jumping straight to the end-of-game screen where you'll see the responsible party's Riot ID. The cheater will be banned, and all other players in the game will have the match results nullified (neither a win nor a loss).
Can I opt out of Vanguard?
Nope.
We believe integrity is the core of competitive gameplay, which is why you can't play Wild Rift without using Vanguard.
