iOS TestFlight and Android Download Suspension

First, a big shoutout to all our Regional Closed Beta players! It’s thanks to you that we’re able to take the next big step in Wild Rift’s journey: REGIONAL OPEN BETA!

Your tremendous support has us anticipating a huge influx of players, and that means doing some behind-the-scenes technical work on our servers to get everything ready for Wild Rift’s newest combatants. This update will impact players differently depending on their mobile device, so read on to learn more!

iOS

  • October 22nd (PT) - TestFlight access to Wild Rift closes
  • October 27th (PT) - Regional Open Beta begins. League of Legends: Wild Rift is available for download in the App Store for all players in eligible markets. 

Once the Regional Open Beta begins, we recommend fully uninstalling the TestFlight version of Wild Rift before downloading the latest version from the App Store.

But that doesn’t mean you have to start from scratch! Just log in with the same Riot account you used in the Closed Beta, and all of your progress and inventory will be restored.

Android

  • October 23rd (PT) - Wild Rift downloads from the Play Store are disabled.
  • October 27th (PT) - Regional Open Beta begins. League of Legends: Wild Rift is available for download in the Google Play Store for all players in eligible markets. 

Already installed and playing? Great! You’ll be able to keep queueing up like always.

However, if you uninstall after the 22nd or received a Closed Beta invite you have yet to redeem, you’ll have to wait until the Regional Open Beta begins on October 27th to join the fun.

And if you accidentally lose your installation during this downtime, don’t worry—all of your progress and inventory from the Closed Beta will be waiting for you once the Regional Open Beta goes live!
