As the League of Legends: Wild Rift Regional Closed Beta comes to an end, we want to give a final shoutout to all the players who pre-registered for an early peek at the new Rift. Without you, both our queues and our hearts would be empty. Thank you!
And now, with Closed Beta closing, it's time for Open Beta to...open.
Welcome to Regional Open Beta!
Do I have to pre-register?
The Open in Regional Open Beta means that anyone in the supported locations can hop into Wild Rift by installing the game and logging on!
Alas, the Regional part of Regional Open Beta means you must be in a specific area to play. Now, we know what you're gonna ask...
What locales are currently in the Regional Open Beta?
As of October 27th, 2020, Regional Open Beta includes:
- South Korea
We’ve also welcomed players from Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, and Timor-Leste, and we're just getting started!
When is the Regional Open Beta coming to my area?
Launching a mobile game of this scope and quality presents a lot of unique challenges, not the least of which is managing a complex global network. With this in mind, it is and always has been our mission to make sure all our titles are region-ready before going live. Some places have more boxes to tick than others, but we firmly believe that a slower, smoother launch will give more value to our players than a rushed, fractured one.
That being said, the following locations are on our radar to join the Regional Open Beta in December of this year (subject to change):
- Middle East
- North Africa
We're also looking to add the Americas in the first half of 2021!
Players looking for more information on the Regional Open Beta's schedule can get all the latest deets at Wild Rift's official website. And as always, thank you for your patience!
What kind of device do I need to play?
Wild Rift shares the same philosophy as its big brother, League of Legends: the more, the merrier! That's why we've gone out of our way to make sure Wild Rift can be played on a variety of devices.
