What does each in-game chat setting do?
League of Legends: Wild Rift gives you two settings to choose from:
Team: Chat will only display text from teammates.
Party: Chat will only display text from the premade party.
Chat is a two-way street, meaning you can only send messages within the limits you set to receive them. Enabling Team chat will prevent you from talking to the enemy, and turning chat to Party will ensure that only your premade group can see your messages.
You can also use the Chat Filter to further curate your experience, whether that means classing up the discourse with a sprinkle of asterisks or disabling the filter to unleash the full force of the internet.
How do I change the in-game chat settings?
Once you're on the home screen, new chat settings are just a few taps away!
- Tap the gear icon in the upper right corner to open Settings
- Tap General
- Go to In-Game Chat
- Choose your desired setting
